Upon arrival, Meimei rented a car from zahra car rental, eager to maximize every second of their adventure. The car condition are like brand new and very comfortable and we are very satisfied with the services that the company give. The first stop was the bustling Kota Kinabalu markets, where the vibrant colors of fresh produce and the aroma of local delicacies immediately immersed Meimei in Sabah’s culture. They sampled flavors they’d never tasted before and bought souvenirs from the local artisans.
With the morning well spent, Meimei decided to explore the city’s historical sites. They visited Sabah Art Gallery and marveled at its colonial architecture, feeling a connection to Sabah’s history. Then, it was off to the Sabah State Mosque, a breathtaking structure where Imran was welcomed with warm smiles.
As the sun started to set, Meimei headed to the city’s waterfront to enjoy a fresh seafood dinner, savoring every bite while gazing at the stunning view of the South China Sea.

The next morning, Meimei was up early, ready for the highlight of their trip a visit to one of Sabah’s renowned islands. They drove to Jesselton Point and hopped on a boat to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.
The moment they set foot on Sapi Island, the crystal clear waters. Snorkeling and swimming in Sabah’s underwater wonderland became a reality as Alex discovered a real beauty of coral and marine life.
